Lions Clubs International has been promoting extension workshops for a few years now.  The technique in these workshops used to recruit new members for new clubs can also be used to recruit new members for existing clubs.  If your district is thinking about conducting an extension workshop or has a workshop scheduled, you may want to consider including a training session that would allow existing clubs to learn this very effective recruiting technique.
